Julep says I'm an "It Girl"

I recently learned about Julep Maven, a monthly subscription box of nail polish and other beauty products from Julep.In the month of May I had a chance to try it for only a penny but it is usually$19.99 a month.I love nail polish so for a penny I thought I would give it a try and I'm glad that I did because I've become a fan.

 So this is how it works- you log on to http://www.julep.com and take style quiz.It then tell you what your style is out of five different styles,American Beauty,Boho Glam,Bombshell,Classic with a Twist and It Girl. Then based on your results they send you your Maven Box.After taking my style quiz I was deemed an "It Girl". I then received my June "It Girl" box about two weeks later. When I got my Maven Box in the mail I was impressed with the packaging, a cute black box with Julep Maven written in white. Upon opening the box the nailpolishes were wrapped in a pretty tissue paper with a bow. There were toe seperators in the package as well. When I unwrapped the polishes there were three different one
Daphne-baby blue
Brooke-sheer purple glitter
Mandy-coral
I found the polishes to be nice and creamy but not too thick and it went on my nails smoothly without running or streaking. For Mandy(coral) and Daphne(blue) I found the colors to be nice and rich.I didn't have to do multiple coats to get a nice,deep color. Brooke,on the other hand, went on very sheer but it does look pretty over another color.I usually paint my nails every two weeks and Julep went the two week stretch without chipping or peeling.So if you like nail polish or subscription boxes I say you should try being a Julep Maven or if you want to try it without the commitment you can purchase single bottles on their site as well.
